What was the hardest thing to understand about your spiritual journey?

How in touch were you with your spiritual journey and how did it change throughout this process? Do you have a new sense of enlightened or do you feel differently about anything now?

Before this journey, I was pretty well attuned to my spiritual side. Now, I have a much greater understanding because of all the books I read and writings I do.
